Clone 4 (Pommard) holds a storied place in the history of California Pinot Noir and is known for its depth and ageability. Sustainably-grown in Julia's Vineyard, this singular clone produces aromas and flavors of ripe cherry, strawberry, cinnamon and sweet vanilla with an underlying earthiness and a hint of dried orange peel. The texture is silky and carries through the long finish made extra delicious when paired with duck breast or mushroom risotto.
Ripe red fruit with exotic spice aromas and flavors, are the dominate characters in this silky, lingering red wine. Underlying earthiness and dried orange peel are displayed in the mid-palate.

About Cambria

Cambria Estate Winery is one of Santa Maria Valley and Santa Barbara County’s most iconic, storied wineries dating back to 1986 when it was founded by wine icon Jess Jackson and his wife Barbara Banke. Today, the winery remains family-owned and operated, with daughters Katie (Katherine) and Julia Jackson serving as co-proprietors. The winery produces exceptional Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that are the truest expression of its single-vineyard sourcing from its eponymous Julia’s Vineyard and Katherine’s Vineyard. Every wine bearing the Cambria name is 100% sustainably grown and produced on the estate.
