Wombat Creek Vineyard is the highest altitude vineyard in the Yarra Valley. The underlying ferrous (red) based volcanic soil and rock produce a distinctively soft yet long and firm palate that contrasts with the finer palates seen from the nearby Applejack Vineyard.
