This shimmering sparkler is crafted from 100% Chardonnay in the same method as Champagne, using small-batch, hands-on techniques. It’s sourced from Saralee’s Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, where the cool climate allows the grapes to hang for longer on the vines and develop complex aromas and flavors without losing acidity. Aged on its lees (the particles left over when the sugar has done its job of consuming the yeast), the wine exudes subtle whiffs of bread dough, along with fresh Asian pear and Meyer lemon aromas.
