Description

This heritage-clone Chardonnay is sourced from the rugged upper reaches of Alexander Valley, between 1,600' and 1,800' above sea level. This wine opens with aromas of stargazer lily, lemon curd, brioche and a stony note in the background. On the palate, one finds Asian pear and toast notes, enveloped in a lush mid-palate and a bracing framework of acidity.

RECENT TASTING NOTES
Sonoma: Another Brilliant Vintage in 2018The 2017 Chardonnay is terrific, with pretty pineapple, white flowers, and white peach notes as well as a medium-bodied, elegant style on the palate. Coming all from the Alexander Valley and brought up in 39% new French oak, it's beautifully done and should have 4-6 years of prime drinking.
