This inaugural wine is a blend of 100% Chardonnay sourced from high-elevation vineyards above Alexander Valley, which bring tension and power, and from the cool Bennett Valley, which adds crispness and vibrancy. Winemaker Marcia Torres Forno’s gift for bringing out a wine’s aromatics shines with this bottle. Lilies, apricots, candied pineapple, beeswax and orange blossom repeat on the nose and palate. Refreshing acidity and a smooth finish are just icing on the cake.
