This inaugural wine is a blend of 100% Chardonnay sourced from high-elevation vineyards above Alexander Valley, which bring tension and power, and from the cool Bennett Valley, which adds crispness and vibrancy. Winemaker Marcia Torres Forno’s gift for bringing out a wine’s aromatics shines with this bottle. Lilies, apricots, candied pineapple, beeswax and orange blossom repeat on the nose and palate. Refreshing acidity and a smooth finish are just icing on the cake.
Crafted to exemplify an expression of the fruit, this white wine has aromas and flavors of grilled nectarine and white lilies with hints of pineapple and key lime pie. Minerality balances this elegant wine.
