Pinot Noir
Sta. Rita Hills, Santa Barbara County, CA
91 points, Vinous, A.G., Sept. 2016

This small-production, single-vineyard wine is made from just two and a half acres of Pinot Noir planted in within the Acin Vineyard of Sta. Rita Hills. As with all Brewer-Clifton pinot noir, Winemaker Greg Brewer crafts this wine using whole-cluster fermentation (stems, seeds, and all) and neutral oak barrels to allow the unique characteristics of the fruit from this vineyard shine. With notes of cherry, pomegranate, and spring flowers, this Pinot Noir can be enjoyed now or easily aged for another 10 to 15 years.
