Pinot Noir is known for having a spectrum of styles, and this wine is a great example of the grape's complexity. Along with hints of fruit like cherry, cranberry and red plum, earthy notes of mushroom and beets are present. Juicy acidity and notes of barrel spice round out this savory and bright delight.
About La Crema
The original name, La Crema Viñera, means “best of the vine,” setting the standard for this winery since 1979. From their home in the Russian River Valley, the best cool-climate growing regions in California are explored through the lens of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Here, the ocean winds and fog allow grapes to ripen slowly on the vine, developing complex flavors and aromas. Winemaker Craig McAllister utilizes boutique, time-intensive techniques to craft distinctively balanced and elegant wines.
