The Zena Crown Vineyard receives a healthy dose of cooling breezes every morning and afternoon thanks to its proximity to the Van Duzer Corridor. These highly prized grapes respond by developing thicker skins, giving wines with deeper than expected color, flavor, and intensity for Willamette Pinot Noir. Penner-Ash chooses from select vineyard blocks to create this stunning wine with flavors of wild blackberries, raspberries, dark cherries, mushrooms and earth framed by gentle touches of oak and spice. It's a moody and mysterious wine much like the vineyard in which it's grown.
