In 1998, Lynn and Ron Penner-Ash founded Oregon-based Penner-Ash Wine Cellars located in the Willamette Valley’s Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Bringing to life their shared vision, through years of hard work and unyielding commitment, the pair built a reputation for lush, layered Pinot Noir and community leadership throughout the valley. With founding Winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash and Winemaker Kate Ayres at the helm, today the winery continues to source from premier vineyards across the Willamette Valley’s sub-AVAs, grounded in decades-long relationships with grower neighbors and friends.

Penner-Ash's legacy of winemaking begins with Lynn, who was one of the first female winemakers hired in the state of Oregon over 30 years ago. Thanks to Lynn’s pioneering spirit and longstanding relationships, Penner-Ash is able to shine a spotlight on the Willamette Valley’s most distinguished vineyards across the Chehalem Mountains, Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, McMinnville, Ribbon Ridge, and Yamhill-Carlton sub-AVAs.

Situated on their very own 15-acre estate vineyard, the Penner-Ash winery and tasting room is home to some serious #kickash views and joyful Oregonian hospitality. Each of Penner-Ash's wines are crafted in their LIVE Certified winery. With every bottle, it’s easy to taste Penner-Ash's commitment to crafting wines of uncompromising quality that lift up the Willamette Valley community.
