From La Crema's estate in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this historic vineyard experiences an array of weather factors throughout the day– mornings blanketed in fog, 90° heat with crisp breezes, and chilly nights– each contributing to producing complex grapes. This richly textured wine has aromas and juicy flavors of golden delicious apple and yellow plum, pear, and apricot. The winery's signature touch of oak creates balance and its bright structure makes it great on it own or paired with poultry and seafood dishes.
About La Crema
The original name, La Crema Viñera, means “best of the vine,” setting the standard for this winery since 1979. From their home in the Russian River Valley, the best cool-climate growing regions in California are explored through the lens of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Here, the ocean winds and fog allow grapes to ripen slowly on the vine, developing complex flavors and aromas. Winemaker Craig McAllister utilizes boutique, time-intensive techniques to craft distinctively balanced and elegant wines.
