Description
French for "low lands", Terres Basses is the lowest and earliest maturing location on the WillaKenzie Estate and the only vines planted in a completely different soil type. In this unique block, the Hazelair soil encourages the fruit to ripen early and produce small berries with thick skins resulting in wines that are very dark, intense and rich. This is a rich Pinot Noir with black raspberry, blackberry, and black cherry flavors that are offset by earthy herbal notes and sweet, brown spice.
