Description

Have you ever used multiple pots on the stove to cook a delicious dish? Winemaker Marcia Torres Forno used four different fermentation vessels—a mix of very large oak barrels, stainless steel, and regular-size neutral barrels—to craft this highly fragrant, age-worthy Sauvignon Blanc. Scents of white peach and honeydew melon greet your nose, while a satiny mouthfeel of candied melon and citrus wash over your palate.

RECENT TASTING NOTES
Up From The Cellar #7 & Misc New Releases The 2017 Sauvignon Blanc Knights Valley comes from a warmer appellation yet still has vivid, bright aromatics of green citrus, peach, honeysuckle, and a distinct minerality. Rounded, medium-bodied, and beautifully textured on the palate, it's already hard to resist, yet I suspect it will evolve nicely on its depth of fruit and balance.
