Description

While Cabernet Franc can be a challenge to ripen, it thrives in the unique terroir of Mt. Brave’s rugged high-elevation vineyard. The combination of the cooler air at altitude and prolonged sun exposure above fog line maximize the ripening period. The longer hang time for the grapes translates into delicious chocolate and raspberry notes in the glass, culminating in a delightfully bright finish.

RECENT TASTING NOTES
I loved the 2014 Cabernet Franc from this team. It has classic floral and mineral notes as well as blueberry and red currant fruit, medium-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannin, and a clean, focused, lengthy finish. It's already hard to resist (and I see no need to delay gratification) but it’s capable of lasting for 10-15 years.
