Cambria’s wines are some of the best cool-climate crus in California. This Pinot Noir expresses dark cherry, ground coffee and baking spice aromas. Blueberry, baking spices and a hint of orange peel follow on the palate with an extended finish. A perfect pour to go with coq au vin, cow’s milk cheese such as Gruyère, or glazed duck breast.
One of Santa Maria Valley and Santa Barbara County’s most iconic, storied wineries, Cambria Estate Winery was founded in 1986 by wine icon Jess Jackson and his wife Barbara Banke. Today, the winery is led by their daughters Julia and Katie Jackson. Winemaker Jill Russell produces exceptional Pinot Noirs, and Chardonnays that are the truest expression of Cambria’s single-vineyard sourcing from its eponymous Julia’s Vineyard and Katherine’s Vineyard, alongside Syrah and Viognier crafted from Tepusquet Vineyard. Every wine bearing the Cambria name is 100-percent sustainably grown and produced on the estate.
