Pierre Seillan is the mastermind behind Vérité's wines. He uses over 50 small vineyard plots across four regions to create his blends. Each plot, or "micro-cru," contributes its unique mix of aromas, flavors, and textures which allows Seillan to craft the distinct wines of Vérité. He handles each micro-cru individually: from harvesting to fermenting, then aging in French oak barrels with different levels of toasting.

The Future of Vérité Wines
Pierre’s Daughter, Hélène Seillan, was raised in both France and California and is now the assistant winemaker. She has injected a new energy while upholding her family's winemaking tradition. With a background deeply rooted in winemaking, she pursued her passion by dividing her time between Sonoma County and Saint-Émilion. Since 2006, Hélène has worked alongside her father at their Bordeaux estate, honing her skills. She studied Viticulture and Oenology in Bordeaux to prepare for her role in the family business.
