When grapes are so good you have to make a single vineyard Rosé! It is rare to find, but La Crema likes to showcase the very best and this wine from their home at Saralee's Vineyard is now a fruity, crisp, classic. Made from Pinot Noir, these are the first grapes harvested in the Russian River Valley to maintain juicy acidity found in cool regions. Aromas and flavors of nectarine, strawberry, fresh watermelon, white cherry, and lime zest pop from the glass.
About La Crema
The original name, La Crema Viñera, means “best of the vine,” setting the standard for this winery since 1979. From their home in the Russian River Valley, the best cool-climate growing regions in California are explored through the lens of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Here, the ocean winds and fog allow grapes to ripen slowly on the vine, developing complex flavors and aromas. Winemaker Craig McAllister utilizes boutique, time-intensive techniques to craft distinctively balanced and elegant wines.
